The Rockland Youth Commission and Drama Kids have joined together to bring you a 12 weeks drama classes for your children.  Please see the descriptions below.Drama Kids for grades 3-6Come experience the creative literacy program where kids  "ACT UP" with a purpose! Tumbling is benifical for all ages.  This class will provide your child with not only the fundimentals of tumbling it will work on there strength, flexibility, speed, balance, coordination, power, and discipline.  For our younger tumblers it will assist with there social and emotional growth.  This program is recreational and non-competitive where the objective is to "have fun" while perfecting such basic skills as forward and backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels and bridges.  The skills and connections learned can be used in competition and also carry over into all other sports.Designed for boys and girls in grades Kindergarten through 2nd grade.  Suggested attire:  loose-fitting clothes and/or leotards.Registration & Refund Information  Registration: Student is only considered registered (and spot reserved) in a program once payment is received. The program will begin as an introduction to the game. As the program continues and the children become more familiar with the game, they will play in game situations.  Fighting/Dropping equipment in order to instigate a fight is prohibited at all times.  Players who attempt to initial a fight will be immediately ejected.  Players who push/shove/check will be ejected immediately.   Please Provide your child with the following:  Goggles, Helmet & Water (Bike helmet is ok).  It is up to the parents discretion if your child wears the Goggles, but a Helmet will be mandatory in all games played.  One of the injury's we see the most with Floor Hockey is getting hit in the head or eye with the ball or stick.Please Note: NO CLASS 1/21 & 2/18 Registration & Refund Information  Registration: Student is only considered registered (and spot reserved) in a program once payment is received. Heartsaver CPR AED: Adult/Child/Infant and First Aid Certification:Heartsaver CPR & AED Adult/Child/Infant is designed for non-medical workers, child care providers, life guards, and members of the general public. Includes adult/child/infant techniques for choking, CPR and AED (automatic external defibrillator). All classes include choking and proper Epi-Pen use. American Heart Association certificates issued.  First AidOne hour add on to the above class. Learn how to recognize and treat common emergencies, such as burns, bleeding, shock, poisoning, stroke, electrical shock, and broken bones.  Community Hands Only CPR AED Training:Adult Hands Only (No Mouth to Mouth) CPR & AED instruction, along with full Child & Infant CPR & AED instruction. As the program continues and the children become more familiar with the game, they will play in game situations.  Fighting/Dropping equipment in order to instigate a fight is prohibited at all times.  Players who attempt to initial a fight will be immediately ejected.  Players who push/shove/check will be ejected immediately.   Please Provide your child with the following:  Goggles, Helmet & Water (Bike helmet is ok).  It is up to the parents discretion if your child wears the Goggles, but a Helmet will be mandatory in all games played.  One of the injury's we see the most with Floor Hockey is getting hit in the head or eye with the ball or stick.Please Note: NO CLASS 1/21 & 2/18 Registration & Refund Information  Registration: Student is only considered registered (and spot reserved) in a program once payment is received. Tumbling is benifical for all ages.  This class will provide your child with not only the fundimentals of tumbling it will work on there strength, flexibility, speed, balance, coordination, power, and discipline.  For our younger tumblers it will assist with there social and emotional growth.  This program is recreational and non-competitive where the objective is to "have fun" while perfecting such basic skills as forward and backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels and bridges.  The skills and connections learned can be used in competition and also carry over into all other sports.Designed for boys and girls in grades Kindergarten through 2nd grade.  Suggested attire:  loose-fitting clothes and/or leotards.Registration & Refund Information  Registration: Student is only considered registered (and spot reserved) in a program once payment is received. As the program continues and the children become more familiar with the game, they will play in game situations.  Fighting/Dropping equipment in order to instigate a fight is prohibited at all times.  Players who attempt to initial a fight will be immediately ejected.  Players who push/shove/check will be ejected immediately.   Please Provide your child with the following:  Goggles, Helmet & Water (Bike helmet is ok).  It is up to the parents discretion if your child wears the Goggles, but a Helmet will be mandatory in all games played.  One of the injury's we see the most with Floor Hockey is getting hit in the head or eye with the ball or stick.Please Note: NO CLASS 1/21 & 2/18 Registration & Refund Information  Registration: Student is only considered registered (and spot reserved) in a program once payment is received. Heartsaver CPR AED: Adult/Child/Infant and First Aid Certification:Heartsaver CPR & AED Adult/Child/Infant is designed for non-medical workers, child care providers, life guards, and members of the general public. Includes adult/child/infant techniques for choking, CPR and AED (automatic external defibrillator). All classes include choking and proper Epi-Pen use. American Heart Association certificates issued.  First AidOne hour add on to the above class. Learn how to recognize and treat common emergencies, such as burns, bleeding, shock, poisoning, stroke, electrical shock, and broken bones.  Community Hands Only CPR AED Training:Adult Hands Only (No Mouth to Mouth) CPR & AED instruction, along with full Child & Infant CPR & AED instruction. Tumbling is benifical for all ages.  This class will provide your child with not only the fundimentals of tumbling it will work on there strength, flexibility, speed, balance, coordination, power, and discipline.  For our younger tumblers it will assist with there social and emotional growth.  This program is recreational and non-competitive where the objective is to "have fun" while perfecting such basic skills as forward and backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels and bridges.  The skills and connections learned can be used in competition and also carry over into all other sports.Designed for boys and girls in grades Kindergarten through 2nd grade.  Suggested attire:  loose-fitting clothes and/or leotards.Registration & Refund Information  Registration: Student is only considered registered (and spot reserved) in a program once payment is received.
