Welcome Back!!  This is a modified version of what we have done in the past and will follow the Massachusetts State Guidelines. Masks:  Due to the increase in COVID Cases and the new variant we will be requiring that anyone attending must wear a mask.  The only exception will be medical.  You will need to provide a doctors note to the Recreation Office. Please note:  If we find it is too difficult to run under the current guide lines then we may shut down the program.  Volunteer's are needed!  Please contact the office at 781-871-1730 to volunteer.  Registration: You must register and pay on line for the day they want to attend. We are limiting this night to 40 kids.  We will allow 25 kids in the gym and the remainder in the blue room and the snack bar area.  Snack Bar We will have our snack bar open but the kids will have a designated time to eat and once there time is up we will sanitize the area before the next group comes in to eat. We are limiting the area to 10 teens. The kids will not be allowed to walk around and eat they have to sit and eat at their designated time.  Bathrooms We are only allowing one person at a time in the bathrooms.  We will be sanitizing the bathrooms every 30 minutes.  GymWe will be playing organized games in the gym and have tournaments.  Teens may only have water in the gym. Greg was seeking a practice that would increase his agility and flexibility as he trained for his 1st Degree Black Belt. By incorporating yoga, massage and energy work into his training he is currently a 3rd Degree Black Belt with 5+ years experience teaching Tae Kwon Do. Since earning his 200 hr teacher certification through Sacred Space Yoga School in May 2014 Greg continues his journey by currently working towards an additional 300 hr certification. This class will prepare children to handle most home alone situations, from an unexpected knock on the door to an emergency 911 phone call. It also covers food/kitchen safety, choking prevention and Heimlich Maneuver on self and others, basic first aid, handling emergencies, handling fears, safety to and from school, basic street smarts, self-defense techniques and lots of prevention! Coach Marisa will be helped out by other staff members to bring volleyball classes back to Rockland Rec!Students will learn the basic rules of volleyball, positions, how to hit the ball several different ways, and how to score points. Classes will be set up so each student is progressing to become the best player that they can be.This class will be run for 6 weeks. Note: there will be no classes 10/10 or 10/31.Students will be required to wear padded knee pads to make sure they do not hurt themselves while playing.Please Read: If your child is not feeling well or is exhibiting any of the following symptoms please keep them home. - a fever - a cough- sore throat- fast breathing- chills- shaking with chills- muscle pain- headache- a loss of taste or smellWearing of Face Masks:  Face masks are required to participate in the program. Welcome Back!!  This is a modified version of what we have done in the past and will follow the Massachusetts State Guidelines. Masks:  Due to the increase in COVID Cases and the new variant we will be requiring that anyone attending must wear a mask.  The only exception will be medical.  You will need to provide a doctors note to the Recreation Office. Please note:  If we find it is too difficult to run under the current guide lines then we may shut down the program.  Volunteer's are needed!  Please contact the office at 781-871-1730 to volunteer.  Registration: You must register and pay on line for the day they want to attend. We are limiting this night to 40 kids.  We will allow 25 kids in the gym and the remainder in the blue room and the snack bar area.  Snack Bar We will have our snack bar open but the kids will have a designated time to eat and once there time is up we will sanitize the area before the next group comes in to eat. We are limiting the area to 10 teens. The kids will not be allowed to walk around and eat they have to sit and eat at their designated time.  Bathrooms We are only allowing one person at a time in the bathrooms.  We will be sanitizing the bathrooms every 30 minutes.  GymWe will be playing organized games in the gym and have tournaments.  Teens may only have water in the gym. The Rockland Recreation and Drama Kids have joined together to bring you drama classes for your children that will resulting in a performance in the spring.  Please see the descriptions below.Please Note the correct price for this program is $180.00Drama Kids for grades K-6Come experience the creative literacy program where kids  "ACT UP" with a purpose! Welcome Back!!  This is a modified version of what we have done in the past and will follow the Massachusetts State Guidelines. Masks:  Due to the increase in COVID Cases and the new variant we will be requiring that anyone attending must wear a mask.  The only exception will be medical.  You will need to provide a doctors note to the Recreation Office. Please note:  If we find it is too difficult to run under the current guide lines then we may shut down the program.  Volunteer's are needed!  Please contact the office at 781-871-1730 to volunteer.  Registration: You must register and pay on line for the day they want to attend. We are limiting this night to 40 kids.  We will allow 25 kids in the gym and the remainder in the blue room and the snack bar area.  Snack Bar We will have our snack bar open but the kids will have a designated time to eat and once there time is up we will sanitize the area before the next group comes in to eat. We are limiting the area to 10 teens. The kids will not be allowed to walk around and eat they have to sit and eat at their designated time.  Bathrooms We are only allowing one person at a time in the bathrooms.  We will be sanitizing the bathrooms every 30 minutes.  GymWe will be playing organized games in the gym and have tournaments.  Teens may only have water in the gym. Coach Marisa will be helped out by other staff members to bring volleyball classes back to Rockland Rec!Students will learn the basic rules of volleyball, positions, how to hit the ball several different ways, and how to score points. Classes will be set up so each student is progressing to become the best player that they can be.This class will be run for 6 weeks. Note: there will be no classes 10/10 or 10/31.Students will be required to wear padded knee pads to make sure they do not hurt themselves while playing.Please Read: If your child is not feeling well or is exhibiting any of the following symptoms please keep them home. - a fever - a cough- sore throat- fast breathing- chills- shaking with chills- muscle pain- headache- a loss of taste or smellWearing of Face Masks:  Face masks are required to participate in the program.
