The Rockland Youth Commission and Drama Kids have joined together to bring you a 12 weeks drama classes for your children.  Please see the descriptions below.Drama Kids for grades 3-6Come experience the creative literacy program where kids  "ACT UP" with a purpose! PLEASE NOTE THE DATES OF TUMBLING FOR SESSION 4 HAVE CHANGES AND WE WILL BE STARTING ON 4/9Tumbling is beneficial for all ages.  This class will provide your child with not only the fundamentals  of tumbling it will work on there strength, flexibility, speed, balance, coordination, power, and discipline.  For our younger tumblers it will assist with there social and emotional growth.  This program is recreational and non-competitive where the objective is to "have fun" while perfecting such basic skills as forward and backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels and bridges.  The skills and connections learned can be used in competition and also carry over into all other sports.Designed for boys and girls in grades Kindergarten through 2nd grade.  Suggested attire:  loose-fitting clothes and/or leotards.Registration & Refund Information  Registration: Student is only considered registered (and spot reserved) in a program once payment is received. Heartsaver CPR AED: Adult/Child/Infant and First Aid Certification:Heartsaver CPR & AED Adult/Child/Infant is designed for non-medical workers, child care providers, life guards, and members of the general public. Includes adult/child/infant techniques for choking, CPR and AED (automatic external defibrillator). All classes include choking and proper Epi-Pen use. American Heart Association certificates issued.  First AidOne hour add on to the above class. Learn how to recognize and treat common emergencies, such as burns, bleeding, shock, poisoning, stroke, electrical shock, and broken bones.  Community Hands Only CPR AED Training:Adult Hands Only (No Mouth to Mouth) CPR & AED instruction, along with full Child & Infant CPR & AED instruction. Refunds: There will be a $10 processing fee for all refunds/credits and all requests must be made at least 5 business days prior to the start of the program. Age Requirement: Participants must be the minimum age for the program or turn that age within the first week of the program. Confirmations: Please keep a record of your registration. Confirmations are emailed as soon as your registration is processed; no further confirmations or reminders are provided. We ensure the safety of all participants in our programs. Therefore we hold the right to decline/remove any child from any program provided that the child is: 1)Potentially putting themselves at risk of injury, 2) Potentially putting others at risk of injury through their actions, or 3) Blatantly disregarding proper safety rules as set forth by the instructor of the program.

PLEASE NOTE THE DATES OF TUMBLING FOR SESSION 4 HAVE CHANGES AND WE WILL BE STARTING ON 4/9Tumbling is beneficial for all ages.  This class will provide your child with not only the fundamentals  of tumbling it will work on there strength, flexibility, speed, balance, coordination, power, and discipline.  For our younger tumblers it will assist with there social and emotional growth.  This program is recreational and non-competitive where the objective is to "have fun" while perfecting such basic skills as forward and backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels and bridges.  The skills and connections learned can be used in competition and also carry over into all other sports.Designed for boys and girls in grades Kindergarten through 2nd grade.  Suggested attire:  loose-fitting clothes and/or leotards.Registration & Refund Information  Registration: Student is only considered registered (and spot reserved) in a program once payment is received. During these specialized skills sessions, participants will learn about and develop their fundamental basketball skills such as ball-handling, passing, shooting, rebounding, and more!  Participants will also play mini games that will focus on teaching proper spacing and basic principles for offense and defense.   Each week our pro & D1 instructors will spend individual time with your child to help them improve their skills, technique, and confidence!Please bring a basketball & water bottle!
