Bette Antonellis, L.P.N., CTTS-M, is a licensed practical nurse, a master certified tobacco treatment specialist, and a health educator affiliated with local hospitals, health care facilities and community centers on the South Shore of Massachusetts. Her small business, South Shore Safety, specializes in health education and safety programs for kids, such as Home Alone Staying Safe, “Circles of Safety” self defense programs, Babysitter Safety Training, as well as tobacco treatment services for teens and adults. The program will begin as an introduction to the game. As the program continues and the children become more familiar with the game, they will play in game situations.  Fighting/Dropping equipment in order to instigate a fight is prohibited at all times.  Players who attempt to initial a fight will be immediately ejected.  Players who push/shove/check will be ejected immediately.   Please Provide your child with the following:  Goggles, Helmet & Water (Bike helmet is ok).  It is up to the parents discretion if your child wears the Goggles, but a Helmet will be mandatory in all games played.  One of the injury's we see the most with Floor Hockey is getting hit in the head or eye with the ball or stick.Registration & Refund Information  Registration: Student is only considered registered (and spot reserved) in a program once payment is received. Coach Katie Jacob, certified by the USA Volleyball Academy and former coach of the U14 Starland Supernova team, will teach participants the basic rules of Volleyball. Participants will learn positions, how to hit the ball several different ways, and how to score points. Classes will be set up so each student is progressing to become the best player that they can be!Students will be required to wear padded knee pads to make sure they do not hurt themselves while playing.NO Class 11/30 & 12/28Registration & Refund Information Registration: Student is only considered registered (and spot reserved) in a program once payment is received. This program features speed & agility training, strength development, ball-handling, defense, passing, shooting, and scrimmaging. The Rockland Youth Commission and Drama Kids have joined together to bring you a 12 weeks drama classes for your children.  Please see the descriptions below.Drama Kids for grades K-6Come experience the creative literacy program where kids  "ACT UP" with a purpose!
