Pokémon Movie Adventures:
Where young imaginations can soar in the enchanting world of Pokémon & storytelling! In this creative movie making workshop, kids will delve into the art of storytelling, drawing inspiration from their favorite Pokémon characters and class gameplay.
Participants will explore how to craft their own Pokémon tales, from epic journeys to heartwarming friendships, as we start each class with a Pokemon card game that inspires the story we build. They'll brainstorm creative plots, develop original characters, and even build their very own Pokémon teams! The young filmmakers will bring their favorite Pokémon to life, as they immerse themselves in the captivating world of film production and special effects. Kids will design costumes and film a short narrative that blends hand drawn and animated settings and backgrounds with live-action performances and exhilarating special effect power-ups added in post-production! The course will culminate in an extraordinary mixed-media video project to share with family and friends!

About CinemaKidz:
Cinemakidz is a Brooklyn-based youth arts STEAM educational program, offering children ages 5 -15 the opportunity to explore the world of movie-making in an engaging and interdisciplinary manner. We offer after school classes, birthday parties, summer and vacation camps, weekend workshops and free events throughout the city. Filmmaking is such an amazing all-encompassing process. Children who take our classes often realize passions they never knew existed. We work closely with every student to help them discover what they love about filmmaking. We see movie making as a means to explore the world around us in a hands-on exciting way. Our classes are interdisciplinary in their design; several include building, robotics, historical research and critical thinking skills, writing, art, engineering, and more.

Registration & Refund Information
Registration: Student is only considered registered (and spot reserved) in a program once payment is received. Online registration & payment is the quickest and easiest way to secure a spot in a program. Registration is also accepted in our office and by mail on a first-come first-served basis.
Refunds: There will be a $10 processing fee for all refunds/credits and all requests must be made at least 5 business days prior to the start of the program.
Age Requirement: Participants must be the minimum age for the program or turn that age within the first week of the program.
Confirmations: Please keep a record of your registration. Confirmations are emailed as soon as your registration is processed; no further confirmations or reminders are provided.
We ensure the safety of all participants in our programs. Therefore we hold the right to decline/remove any child from any program provided that the child is: 1)Potentially putting themselves at risk of injury, 2) Potentially putting others at risk of injury through their actions, or 3) Blatantly disregarding proper safety rules as set forth by the instructor of the program.
