Rockland Markets 2025 Information

This year's Open Air Markets: Handmade & Homegrown will be a scaled down version in a new location, with a new day and time.
  • Join us at the Community Center on Thursday nights from 5:30pm-8:30pm.
  • Spaces will be limited to 10 per date due to the size of the venue.

Location: 394 Union St, Rockland MA 
Days/Time: Thursdays, 5:30pm- 8:30pm
Dates: JUNE 5th, 12th, 26th
            JULY 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st
            AUGUST 7th, 14th, 31st

Single Day Vendor: $40/ date
Food Truck Vendor: $50/ date
Please note that this is an outdoor event. We reserve the right to cancel due to severe weather. 

If you would like to apply for any of the dates:

1. Create an account (if you don't already have one)
2. Contact the Event Manager at rocklandmarket@rockland-ma.gov 
  • You will be prompted to fill out an application.
  • Once we have come to an agreement on your scheduled dates, we will process your registration and payment.

Each seller will receive an assigned spot on the event map with your number listed. This info will be emailed by the organizer a few day before each event


- Rented seller spaces are 12’ and the allowable displaying space is within that  area. 
- Sellers are responsible for personal booth set-up, tent, table chair, trash and such. 
- Vehicles will be allowed to off load then asked to move to an allowed parking area located behind the building located at 394 Union St (not the Dove's Nest parking lot)
- Sellers should be set up and ready to sell by 5:30pm and will keep all products  set-up until 8:30pm
- Subletting rented sellers space is NOT permitted unless authorized by Event Manager
- No multi level marketing vendors.
- The Event Manager is responsible for overseeing all activities at the market; all sellers must comply with managers requests.
- Seller is responsible for clearing rented space before leaving the market for the day.
- The Rockland Markets are “Carry In/Carry Out”. Sellers may not leave behind or dispose of packing/merchandising materials. 


Food and Consumable item sellers
Sellers that offer food items (processed) or any type of item consumed by humans MUST contact Delshaune Flipp Rockland Board of Health to obtain any permits that may be required. Please contact @ 781-871-1874 ext. 1005 or by e-mailing healthagent@rockland-ma.gov. 
Propane

Canopy
Rockland Open Air Market is exposed to outdoor conditions. Please consider this with your canopy and set up.
 - Sellers are responsible for supplying their own tables, chairs and canopy 
 - Canopies must be in good working condition and MUST be weighted down to the ground with sandbags/weights to keep the canopy firmly anchored to the ground.
PAYMENTS:
Rented space will be reserved after application is complete AND payment is received by Rockland Recreation Office located at 394 Union Street. If you have not been in contact with Olivia before you apply please email rocklandmarket@rockland-ma.gov to confirm.

Cancellations, Refunds & Termination
- No Refund will be issued if vendor cancels within 2 weeks of event. All cancellations must be emailed to rocklandmarket@rockland-ma.gov  to ensure a refund.
- There will be a $10 service fee for cancellations. A $30 refund will be submitted in this case and could take up to 2-3 weeks to process
- Rockland Open Air Market will try to have a hazardous weather make up date later in the season if possible.
- Full refunds will be issued if weather is too hazardous to proceed with events (rain is not considered hazardous).
 - Rockland Markets will not tolerate hate speech of any kind, racism, bullying, aggressions,  sexual harassment or harassment of any kind and will result in immediate termination of contract removal of seller with no refund.

Please note that payment through this website will be a 3.5% Service fee paid to the Credit Card processing company.
