        Hartsuff Park Pond Rules
 Lifeguards have the final say in rule enforcement
  • 1 Whistle - Lifeguard needs your attention
  • 2 Whistle - Camp Buddy Check
  • 3 Whistle - Clear the Pond
  • NO Pets - (Guide/service dogs are allowed, but not in the water)
  • NO Glass items
  • NO Patrons under the influence of alcohol or narcotics will be permitted to swim
  • NO Alcohol or Drugs
  • NO Smoking
  • NO Eating in the Pond
  • NO Campfires or camping on the beach
  • NO Littering
  • NO Disturbing the Wildlife
  • NO Touching the Ropes
  • NO Disruptive behavior including no throwing sand or rocks, no excessive splashing, no shoulder or piggy back rides, no pushing others under water and no foul language
  • If your child is under the age of 12, they must be accompanied by an Adult 
  • Please do not change diapers, clothes or wash children on the beach or at the water’s edge. Please use the changing area at the back of the bathhouse.   
  • Children not toilet trained should wear a swim diaper
  • Children under 7 years old or less than 4 feet tall must be always accompanied by a parent or guardian and in a swimsuit. While in the water, the parent or guardian must remain with in arms reach at all times. 
  • Please dress in the appropriate attire for the beach
  • In the event of thunder and lightning is heard the pond will be cleared until storm passes
