Celebrate Rockland's 150th year with us!

Calling children ages 0-10! Decorate your bike and enter it in the Wheels and Wagons Kid’s Parade, Celebrating the Town of Rockland’s 150th anniversary.

Rules for the contest are as follows:
For prizes, judges will be looking for entries that use the theme of “Celebrating Rockland,” and the use of the colors, creativity and originality.
Prizes will be awarded to the best decorated in each category/age group.
Categories:
Under 3 Wagon/Stroller
3–5-year-old
6–8-year-old
9–10-Year-old
Costumes may be worn but must not interfere with rider’s vision (all must be appropriate for family atmosphere).
Small Decoration kits will be available for free at the community center, while supplies last or you can choose to supply your own decorations.
Decorations must be completed before arrival to parade, and attached firmly. Decorations must not interfere with safe operation of the bike.
Bikes, Tricycles, scooters, wagons, strollers and wheelchairs are allowed. (training wheels are permitted). No motorized bikes/ cars are permitted for this contest.
Bikes must be in safe, operating condition.
Bike riders must wear bicycle helmets at all times. Other safety equipment is optional.
Entrants must ride their bike or walk along with it.
All contest participants are expected to march in the parade.
