Summer Adventures with the NSRWA
This is a 4 day program running Monday through Thursday (rain date on Friday) from 1:30-4:30pm. Each event will consist of providing a fun and adventure based experience to Rockland youth between the ages of 10-13. Each event will encourage outdoor stewardship and education, and an appreciation for the local communities.
Staff:Program includes two experienced guides, including a certified American Red Cross Lifeguard and Wilderness First Responder.

Monday - Fishing at Jacobs Pond
Tuesday - Nature Games and swimming at Hartsuff Park
Wednesday - Kayaking at Jacobs Pond. We will also try to swing by a local ice cream shop on the way back so your youth is welcome to bring $5-10 for ice cream or sweet treats.
Thursday - Survival Shelter Building and Capture the Flag at NSRWA Field Site in Marshfield.
Friday - Make-up day TBD

*Please note events are subject to change*Join us as we get outside and explore places in and around our community, all while having fun, staying safe, and experiencing something new. No previous kayaking or fishing experience necessary.
What to bring:
- Please put all items in a back pack
- Plenty of water with their name on it
- Bug Spray (Apply prior to arrival and we will reapply as needed)
- Sunscreen (Apply prior to arrival and we will reapply as needed)
- Wearing a hat will keep the sun off your head
- Please wear closed toe shoes (bring water shoes for Kayaking)
- Light Snack
- Hand Sanitizer
- They will be carrying out any trash they bring in!
Drop Off:
Please drop your child with the instructor at the location for that day.

The NSRWA was founded in 1970 and has grown to over 1,900 members today, comprised of individuals, families, businesses, and other environmentally-concerned organizations.

Registration & Refund Information
Registration: Student is only considered registered (and spot reserved) in a program once payment is received. Online registration & payment is the quickest and easiest way to secure a spot in a program. Registration is also accepted in our office and by mail on a first-come first-served basis.
Refunds: There will be a $10 processing fee for all refunds/credits and all requests must be made at least 5 business days prior to the start of the program. All credits applied to accounts will be good up to one year and can be used for any Rockland Recreation program.
Age Requirement: Participants must be the minimum age for the program or turn that age within the first week of the program.
Confirmations: Please keep a record of your registration. Confirmations are emailed as soon as your registration is processed; no further confirmations or reminders are provided.
We ensure the safety of all participants in our programs. Therefore we hold the right to decline/remove any child from any program provided that the child is: 1)Potentially putting themselves at risk of injury, 2) Potentially putting others at risk of injury through their actions, or 3) Blatantly disregarding proper safety rules as set forth by the instructor of the program.
