Herbs & Sundry






Come join Rockland Recreation and Herbs & Sundry for the 1st Community Herb Walk through the Rail Trail.

This is a FREE event and is for the whole family.
Come walk with Mike and Lisa Quinn, co-owners of Herbs & Sundry and explore nature's treasures for a harmonious life!  Herbs & Sundry can be found at local farmers markets selling fresh and dried herbs along with other sundries.
The walk will be a guided plant walk of a section of the Rockland Rail trail to learn plant identification and traditional uses of medicinal and edible plants as well as plants to avoid like poison ivy/oak/sumac (all dependent on what is found on the trail).
Lisa and Mike are apprentice herbalists and the proprietors of Herbs & Sundry, a Rockland based tea and herb retailer. After traveling to New Hampshire and western Massachusetts for hands on herbal and foreaging training, they’ve decided to bring that same type of learning opportunity to their own community here on the south shore.
