The Rockland Youth Commission and Drama Kids have joined together to bring you drama classes for your children that will resulting in a performance in the spring. Please see the descriptions below.
Drama Kids: June Pop Up is for Ages 7-12
Come experience the creative literacy program where kids "ACT UP" with a purpose! The following line up you can take one class or all classes!
6/2 Improv - Learn how to act with out a script
6/9 Character Basics - How to create and sustain a character
6/16 Creative Movement - Learn the act of silent acting and miming
6/23 Scenes & Skills - Partner work and acting with a script
6/30 Prop Master - Students will explore characters and scenes with every day props.

If your child is not feeling well or is exhibiting any of the following symptoms please keep them home.
- a fever
- a cough
- sore throat
- fast breathing
- shaking with chills
- muscle pain
- a loss of taste or smell
Wearing of Face Masks:
Face masks are required to participate in the program. We ask that participants bring and use a mask.
Pick Up Time:
Please pick up on time so that we have time to sanitize for the next program. We will be doing a rolling pick up for the children. We ask that you stay in your car and let your child come to you.
Please drop your child off at the door. Each time you drop off your child you will be asked a series of questions related to COVID 19. This is information will not be shared unless there has been a confirmed case of COVID -19. At that point any information we collect will be shared with the health agent and she will share it with the state.
What To Bring:
- Plenty of water in a bottles marked with their name.
- Extra mask
Registration & Refund Information
Registration: Student is only considered registered (and spot reserved) in a program once payment is received. Online registration & payment is the quickest and easiest way to secure a spot in a program. Registration is also accepted in our office and by mail on a first-come first-served basis.
Refunds: There will be a $10 processing fee for all refunds/credits and all requests must be made at least 5 business days prior to the start of the program.
Age Requirement: Participants must be the minimum age for the program or turn that age within the first week of the program.
Confirmations: Please keep a record of your registration. Confirmations are emailed as soon as your registration is processed; no further confirmations or reminders are provided.
We ensure the safety of all participants in our programs. Therefore we hold the right to decline/remove any child from any program provided that the child is: 1)Potentially putting themselves at risk of injury, 2) Potentially putting others at risk of injury through their actions, or 3) Blatantly disregarding proper safety rules as set forth by the instructor of the program.
