Located at the Hartsuff Park Recreation Area (off of Hingham Street), this 8-week fun-filled program is available to boys and girls who are entering K-5th grade. This summer's program includes some "field trip Fridays": a weekly off-site field trip most Fridays (please note the trips are subject to change due to weather or facility change). 

A diversified program will be offered Monday through Thursday.  The staff to participant ration will not exceed 1:10.  Children will be divided into age groups overseen by the Camp Director and Counselors.  Activities planned include softball, wiffleball, volleyball, basketball, flag/touch football, street hockey, art & crafts, board games, field games, hiking, storytelling, swimming and Archery.

Camp Weeks
Week 1: June 25-29 - Welcome Week  (EB Movie Theater - The Incredibles 2)
Week 2: Jul 5-6 - USA Week (Special Entertainment - Ryan's Tall Tales)
Week 3: Jul 9-13 -Mustache Week (Trip to Dave & Busters- Braintree)
Week 4: Jul 16-20 - Emoji Week  (Trip to Rock On Adventure- Norwood)
Week 5: July 23-27  - Neon Week (Olympic Day @ Hanver Rec)
Week 6: July 30 -August 3 - Under the Sea (Trip to Launch - Norwood)
Week 7: Aug 6-10 - Disney/Pixar Week (Museum of Science)
Week 8: Aug 13-17 - Hometown Week (Carnival @ the park!)

*** There is no program on July 2, 3, and 4th therefore the cost of that week will be reduced at check out.

Please fill out the attached forms below and return them to the Youth Commission Office at 394 Union St. Prior to the start of the program. 

Weekly Fees:  Monday thru Thursday, 9am - 3pm:  $120
                     Monday thru Friday, 9am - 3pm: $160 (includes off-site field trip or on-site entertainment)

What to Bring:
-Bathing suit & Water shoes
-Towel
-Snacks, Lunch & Waters
-Sunscreen & Bug Spray
-Please wear sneakers  NO OPEN TOE SHOES



PLEASE NOTE:
This year we are not running field trips every Friday.  Please check the listing above for an indication of when we will have a special visitor come to camp on Fridays.  On the weeks we have field trips and you opt not to participate, please register for Monday - Thursday. 
  

T-Shirts:
Registrations by 6/5/17 will be guaranteed there size. Registrations after that date can not be guaranteed the exact size.  Also, if you did not answer the question of what size shirt your child will take then we can not guarantee a size. 

Extended Hours:  

7:30am-9am for an additional fee of $7/morning
3pm-5pm for an additional fee of $10/day.
The staff to child ratio will not exceed 1:10. 

Please Print and fill out the attached Summer Camp Authorization Form and mail or bring it back to the Youth Commission with a copy of your child's Birth Certificate and immunization health form (the one you send to school).

Payment: 
Payment must be received no later then the Wednesday at noon time prior to the start of the following week.  If we do not receive payment then your child will not be considered registered for the week.  If you have a balance owed from the previous year you will not be considered register until you pay off the balance.  

Registration & Refund Information
 
Registration: Student is only considered registered (and spot reserved) in a program once payment is received. Online registration & payment is the quickest and easiest way to secure a spot in a program. Registration is also accepted in our office and by mail on a first-come first-served basis.

Refunds: There will be a $10 processing fee for all refunds/credits and all requests must be made at least 5 business days prior to the start of the program.

Age Requirement:
 Participants must be the minimum age for the program or turn that age within the first week of the program.

Confirmations: Please keep a record of your registration. Confirmations are emailed as soon as your registration is processed; no further confirmations or reminders are provided.

We ensure the safety of all participants in our programs. Therefore we hold the right to decline/remove any child from any program provided that the child is: 1)Potentially putting themselves at risk of injury, 2) Potentially putting others at risk of injury through their actions, or 3) Blatantly disregarding proper safety rules as set forth by the instructor of the program.
